NYOS ION ELEMENTS 1 / 2 / 3 – Advanced Reef Trace Elements

NYOS ION ELEMENTS is an advanced trace-element system developed for modern marine and reef aquariums. The range consists of ION ELEMENTS 1 CA/MG, ION ELEMENTS 2 CA/MG and ION ELEMENTS 3 ALK/pH, each supplying a specific group of trace elements according to their consumption within a reef aquarium.

The ION ELEMENTS are designed to be added to the corresponding NYOS ION-B CA/MG+ or NYOS ION-B ALK/pH+ solutions, allowing trace-element supplementation to be adjusted according to the individual needs of your aquarium.

How the ION ELEMENTS System Works

The three products are used alongside the corresponding ION-B solutions:

Dosing

NYOS recommends adding the ION ELEMENTS to the appropriate ION-B solution rather than directly to the aquarium.

The target dosage is generally 20 ml of ION ELEMENTS per 1 litre of the corresponding ION-B solution. NYOS recommends starting at 10 ml/L and gradually increasing over approximately 2–4 weeks, while monitoring trace-element levels. Regular ICP analysis is recommended to determine the actual requirements of your aquarium.

Important: ION ELEMENTS are concentrated trace-element supplements and should not be dosed directly into the aquarium. Use them with the appropriate NYOS ION-B solution and follow the manufacturer's dosing recommendations.
